Everyone is offering good suggestions as to alternative browsers, but no one is addressing the original problem. Why is .net passport popping up on AF pages, but not at any other forums?

Why is .net passport popping up on AF pages, but not at any other forums? It has something to do with the MSN Messenger icon that some people have in their profiles hence it only pops up in threads that these people have posted in. For example in this thread, originalmike has the icon under his username. Not sure how to fix it though.

Netscape? Netscape's shit too. Resource hungry, and do you really want something owned by AOHell on your computer?

You have AIM on your computer, thats owned by AOL...
I removed AIM from my machine because it kept installing Wild Tangent on my machines, as well as adding a "Try AOL Free" icon on my desk top.

try running ADaware or Spy sweeper, crunch some cookies and pesky registry changes

AdAware, Spybot Search and Destroy updated and run regularly. So is Spyware Blaster, Spyware Guard, Panicware's Pop-Up blocker, and Norton Anti-Virus, along with McCaffee firewall. All show clean. This has to be a board problem.
