What do you think...?

Alright, I have two choices, My car could use a new tranny because the syncros are fucked up in first gear, I can't shift above 3800 RPMs without grinding gears, but all the other gears are fine and I've learned how to race it without making it worse. I'm also getting about $1300 back from tax returns. Now, the two choices I have are:

1. Save another $1000, take me about 2 maybe 3 months, and buy the Spider Street/Strip Tranny and centerforce dual friction clutch from ZXTuner.com.

or

2. When I get my returns, buy cat back exhaust w/ muffler, ZX2 S/R PCM, Nology Hotwires, plugs, grounding strap etc., new brake pads (they're gettin low), and maybe rotors to. Then save up until mid summer for the Tranny.

What do you guys think?

I'm leaning towards #2 but I'm still kinda torn between. Like I said, I learned how to drive it by short shifting first, but I still get a slightly slower 1/4 mile. Instead of 15.8 stock, I'd probably get 16.3 or 16.5.

My personal opinion is to baby it while you can, save for the tranny and dont put any extra stress on the already wounded car until its fully functional again.

I really don't give a shit what you guys think of the mods that I've done aka Wing. I did it for my own personal reason, why, because I like it and don't give a shit what n e body else thinks of it.
