coilover question!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are most coilovers universal?Bought a pair and kid said they were off his 240sx but he had them on his civic hatch. I am wondering If they'll still fit on my car?NEED TO KNOW SOON!!!

ummm, no I dont think they have universal for different car makes, I know there are some universals for honda's becuase of the similarities in the suspensions...but dont quote me on that becuase I'm not to sure.

I think you are being fed a line man, i'm pretty sure that they will not fit both cars seeing as my buddy has a set for his 240 and they are alot different than mine? have you tried fitting them yet? let us know, I would be interested

No bro they will not fit....I just ask my friend at the shop...

They won't fit your car. I know there are some for Honda's like 88-00 Civic's but the ones from the 240sx won't work.

have you ever seen springs for a 240? they are huge. and the struts dont even bolt to the car the same way. so even if it was a matched coilover/strut combo, you still couldnt put them on.

you could use ones for any year civic, and even integra ones, but the teg ones generally have a stiffer spring rate because the car is heavier

buy the ones made for your car. otherwise the spring rate would be off and ud have a funny ride. but if u really want coilovers ill sell u my sentra ones :P
