IYO...Best oil? Turbo or SC?

OK How you all doin. I have a 91DX CRX chassy with a 89ZC motor with about 55,000 on it. I see alot of people doin and talkin bout puttin on turbos rather than superchargers. I know the advantages and disadvantages of both, but why do people choose turbos over SC? Besides the money? And i always seem to burn oil, is that ok? I went from regular 10w-30(thats what we started with since the swap, and went to full synth. Seen alotta burned oil so i went back to reg. but went 2500 on synth blend then to reg. Still burned but maybe not as much. So i took it a step further and started using 10w-40, thinkin it may help when engines hot and have thicker oil. Feels better, but havent checked oil in 2 weeks and should be needing some about now if it was my old oils. By the way i use mobil oil, so what does everyone else use and why if you get that deep into it. And lastly, i hear a hummmmmmm from my front end, doesnt sound much like my tires, think its my bearings? How often should they be done? Chassy has like 210,000 on it.
