would a 1.2 FARAD DIGITAL CAPACITOR do for a 1000W amp?

I believe that it is 1 farad per 1000watts so you should be good!

If your amp is 1000 watts peak, yes it's enough. If it isn't, you'll need more, like a 2 Farad cap.
From what I've heard, most caps are equivalent in performance, but I still trust brand names like Stinger, Lightning Audio, PG, etc.
