ceramic header question

i just took off my exhaust wrap and some of my ceramic coating flaked off, and its that shiny stainless steel underneath. im wondering is there anyway i can take all the ceramic coating off so taht just the stainless steel is showing??? and if so whats the quickest way to do so??

hmmm...if you take it to a machine shop or like a plater I bet if they hot tank it they can get it off pretty easily.

also what exhaust wrap is better. the one thats 1/16"thick or 1/8" thick??

last question, i want to paint my header red bad, how do i go about that? should i get it powder coaded? does powder coating hold up to the heat of the header? could i powder coat a ceramic header or does it have to be stainless steel?
