im not about the bling:

what are some really lightweight wheels out there?

if i could have it my way, there would be a rim that looks EXACTLY like the STOCK gsx or the gst wheel, but weigh like nothing.

Mazda Millenia, chrome, 17x7, ~18 lbs. I picked up my set for 400 with 600 dollars worth of tires mounted. ;) Check out my site for picks. There are some lighter stock wheels (like RX7) but they will cost more.

oh im not saying i want stock wheels, i just want the lightest wheels possible. im just a sleeper-lover and i wish some maker would make lightweight wheels that look stock from the dsm.

lighest cheap wheels will be stock from another car... otherwise you are paying out the ass, but here you go:
Rota Subzero 17-16.3 / 18-18
Centerline RPM 17-14.6 / 18-16.6
Centerline Excel 17-15.6 / 18 17.6
5Zigen FN01R-C 17-16 / 18-17

more expensive
Volk TE-37 17-15.5 / 18-17
Weld Racing Forged Racelite R/S 17-11.6
Velox has one about 17-12.5
OZ Superleggera 17-15.2
Konig Toxxins 17-16.9

I recommend 3G RX7 Wheels. 16x8, 15.4 lbs, and ~$400/4
Or if you NEED those new ones, Rota Subzero.
Good luck.

Maybe because everyone on this site is a 17 year old making 10 bucks an hour and cant afford his own ass :D The reference to stock wheels threw me off I guess.

Not sure how you can say that, when the truth is in my post above. there are wheels in the 11 lb range for 16 inch.

Chad runs the subzeros, I dont know if there is a pic of them on his page though. Pretty light. And cheap too. I dont necessarily care for the styling of some of them, but for light weight wheels that wont spend your turbo money for you too, they arent bad at all. There I go being cheap again :D

If you weren't 'cheap' you would still be running 280whp with a big greddy FMIC and apexi turboback 2.5 inch because you couldnt afford the 3 :)

of the eclipse's stock wheels? if yes then the 2gen 16" alloy wheels weight 22 lbs and the 17's are 25 lbs.
