99 Sub. Engine Dies While Driving

I have a 99 sub. with 93k and the engine randomly dies while driving. It's done it on the freeway as well as lower speeds. The engine cranks, but will not start. After a few minutes, it starts right up and may not happen again for days. I've had the fuel filter and fuel pump replaced and it's still happening. Any suggestions?

check the fuel pressure. these things are very picky if it drops below 60 the injectors won't spray. i'd be looking at the regulator

Pressure checked out ok, so I tried replacing the fuel pump relay and that seems to have solved the problem. At least for now.

Thanks

Have you eliminated the possiblility of intermitantly loosing ignition spark?

I did find a questionable battery connection that I fixed, but that didn't solve it. However, I just got back from a 3k mile vacation with no problems. I'm now confident that the fuel pump relay was the culprit.
