I'm looking for any kinda tips on lowering my Max.
What would be a good brand for Spings and Shocks and where should I get them. Also what a decent price would be. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! :sun:

On the mods page of maximadriver.com, there's a whole section dedicated to struts and springs.

I paid about $400 installed for Eibach sport springs (2000 Maxima SE). About a 1.5" drop. Ride was affected minimally when lightly loaded -- occasionally bottoms (not badly) when fully loaded (4 passengers plus luggage).

To tell you the truth, my Max rides pretty "firm" even stock (wearing optional OEM 17-in rims).

Handling clearly improved on the autocross track! That "too tall" feeling and slowness of weight transfer in fast transitions is gone! No problems bottoming out.

Hope this helps.
