I'm thinking about doing a dohc ZC swap into my hatch. I was wondering if this swap is really as straight forward as I've read. Does it really bolt right in with no problems? And just the minor dizzy wiring? And it will bolt up to my si tranny and I'll be able to use the same axles? I plan to get a long block from hmotorsonline and all i need besides for that is an ecu? and the 88-89 integra ecu is the best? Does anyone else have this swap done and are you happy with it?

I helped my friend whihis dohc ZC swap into his 90 hatch and it was a direct bolt up, he has the dx tranny but it should bolt directly to your si tranny, and i do believe it is the 88-89 teg ecu.

What you heard is true. Ive done a few zc swaps on hatches and crx's. Engine mounts are the same, your tranny will bolt right up, same axles, your Si ecu will even work fine. The best ecu for it is the correct one which is the PM7. The integra one will make it run a bit on the rich side while the Si one will make it run a little lean. You also need to buy an upper radiator hose from i think an 86 accord. Heres a couple websites you may want to check out before throwing down the money.

I also have the DOHC ZC in my car and im pretty damn happy with it. Its no B16, but its still pretty quick.
