i don't know if this fits in this forum, but it seems the closest. so, my question is about a first car that isn't too expensive, probably around 5 or 6 grand and that's easy to tune up. i've looked into older dsms and s13s and swapping an sr20 or a ca18 in, but i was thinking about the price of that, and it'd be my daily driver, so if anything breaks i might out of a car for a little. i kind of want to stay away for the civics and integras, and try to do something a little different, but still easy to tune. i know that a civic or integra would probably be the easiest or cheapest, but i want to be a tad different.
thanks for the advice ahead of time and hopefully my criteria(?) for a car makes sense

I would say go on Ebay and have a look around. Do an advanced search and specify the minimum and maximum price you are looking for. I also live in MA, BTW. About 20 minutes North of Boston.
