My 88 comanche has just started doing this, but when It happens my starter clicks once, then I lose all power till I jiggle the relay wires. I'm guessing there is a short in one wire thast needs to be fixed. Good luck!!

CHECK UNDER WHERE THE RELAYS ARE MOUNTED,THERE ARE FUSEABLE LINKS. ONE OF THESE LINKS MAYBE BROKEN, TUG ON EACH ONE IF IT FEEL LIKE IT STRECHES IT IS BLOWN OUT DALE [email protected]

i finally found the problem its a short about 10" from the relay but the problem is i can only find it when my jeep has been running and the wire is heated up a little bit because when i found it my jeep was just running and i could barely jiggle the wire and it would break connection but when i went inside and came back out 10 minutes later and tried the same thing it wouldn't go out at all.
