Just a little life lesson

Makes you think a little bit
An elder Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life.
He said to them,
"A fight is going on inside me...It is a terrible fight, and it is between two wolves.
One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other wolf stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.
This same fight is going on inside of you and every other person too.”
They thought about it for a minute and then one child asked his grandfather,
"Which wolf will win"?
The Cherokee simply replied . . .
"The one you feed."

"The one you feed."
Very true...Life is what you make out of it.

An interesting perspective. But the things that each wolf stands for... I believe that some of them don't exist naturally. But the fact is that they exist and you have to deal with them, so I believe in what the story says.

Somebody send me some cash. That way I can be generous with it. Oh wait - that would be the treasury department.

That doesn't sound like a Cherokee story. Oh well. That's very true, regardless of the tribe.
