I'm actually surprised this hasn't been discussed yet. This e-voting has me concerned. It will make it an entirely unfair voting machine. I watched something(i believe on CNN or TechTV) about it. The guy they were talking to said, that all you have to do is touch a particular area of the screen and it will take you into a debug menu where you can configure the machine to vote the way you want it to. In other words it can be set to 'only Bush' or 'only Kerry'. So if you have it set on one of those, no matter who you choose it will automatically default to the selected candidate. There are way to many cons to this voting system and too many hackers who will want to test their skills on it.

It certainly leaves open the possibility for someone to tamper with the device used for voting. The problem with ballots are the people using them and insted of them making a better effort to pay attention they change the tool they're using to make up for it.
