delsol engine in 4th gen wht do i need ?

hi
my engine just died and i'm going to buy an delsol engine i was told its a doch vtech 2.2 but i'mnot sure anyways i'm sure it's from a delsol and i wanted to know what i'll need for the swap ?
-will my ECU work with that engine ?
-will my trainy bolt right on ?
-will the mounts fit ?
i'm buying it fo 250 is that a good price ?

The only 2 dohc vtec 2.2L engines I can think of are the H22A from the prelude and the F22 which is in the new S2000. Have fun trying to get either of those engines to fit...LOL.
The del slow engine came with either the 1.5L non vtec SOHC or the 1.6L vtec DOHC. They're both easy to drop into ur 4dr. but I wouldn't recommend wasting ur time putting in the B7 unless ur just looking for a cheap alternative to keep ur car running since it is basically a B2 motor with an A6 head and only puts out about 90 HP to the wheels.

Del Sol Vtec also came with the b16a2 or was it the a3? i forget. one of the two.

cheked back againand its a d16z16 1.6
ok on other sites i see it can be bolted right on.
but they talk about the civic 89-91 si.

your tranny will work with the engine, but i dont think the ecu will because i think the z6 engine is vtec, so you would need an ecu for a vtec engine

Actually you can, you need something to activate vtec. Or you could use your ECU with no vtec controller and it just won't activate. Go with a Apexi VAFC, or the cheap way with a rpm activated switch.
