I have a 91 plymouth sundance and I am currently having a problem, any suggestions: I am losing anti freeze with no apparent leaks, I replaced the radiator cap but then started to get large amounts of white smoke from the exhaust that smells like rotten eggs. Also, just passed NYS emissions test last week.

Here is your answer to your frustrating question. You have a blown head gasket. Pull your dipstick out and check it. Does it look like someone poured chocholate milk in to your oil? Thought so... how do I know you ask? Well I just replaced my head gasket on a 1990 Sundance. It too blew white smoke and ran very hot. I added anti-freeze to it but it was going some where other than into the radiator. At first I thought the heater core was leaking so I rerouted the plumbing, and added more anti-freeze. After adding 2 gallons over a period of 2 weeks and the car still ran very hot with a lot of white smoke but strangely no loss of power. I checked my oil and found out where all the ant-freeze went. A word of caution here do not let that car over heat! The head is made of aluminum and will easily warp then your screwed! Then you will need more than a head gasket. I replaced my head gasket my self and have invested $100.00 so far. A garage will charge at least ten times that. If you decide to do it your self get a manual they are cheap. A "Haynes" manual cost less than $15.00. Label all vacuum lines and electrical plugs to make reassembly much easier. I also had a spark plug hole that the threads were bunged up. While I had the head off I retapped all the plug holes and installed new plugs. My 4 cyl 2.5 cu. engine purrs like a kitten and gets me where I need to go. Good luck!
