well.....looks good so far, if it is going to be a curbside, you sould ajust the suspension to let the car fall down some more!!! but i like all my stuff laying in the dirt! anyway as for the exhaust, run it down the stock location and split em rite behind the suspension, through the lower sides if the rear bumper...and i mean through the plastic like they do on mini trucks!!! would look tight! my 2 cents

thanks guys,

i am gonna try to lower it some more tonite, the arms for the suspention are stoped by the chassis so i might cut some of the chassis to let the arms go lower.

I was going to suggest something similar to this, just run the 2 exaust pipes to like the stock pipes and have 2 mufflers on the same side. 2 like the ones in hiroboys tutoral. some probally won't like it but you don't see it that often.
when i get around to doing my sas hatch i was gont to run 2 through the middle of the bumper.

Looks good so far, can't wait to see more.

jdmhotrod
03-08-2004, 07:48 PM
well heres more!!!! i cut some notches out of the chassis and it goes a bit lower but it is as low as it will go right not i cant make it go any lower.

Cool suspension. Is that your newly rimmed millenia i see in your avatar?

jdmhotrod
03-08-2004, 08:16 PM
yea thats my millena but the rims are photoshoped. i am going to pick it up from the shop in a few hours. errrrr.......damn mechanic gaps the spark plugs wrong and puts the spark plug wires on the wrong spots on the distributer, so i took it back to him cuz it messed up now hes gonna charge me for fixing his mess up?? i think it is time for me to get a lawer. you see i usualy whould do a tune up myself but the car was in the shop for a warped head and he decided to do a tune-up on it at the same time. back on topic, if anyone has a spare luxy kit sittin around pm me i might want it for the suspention, as i have alot more models that are just begging for an adjustable suspention.

if i'm not mistaken, you can buy those custom built from england... i think it was the british who first transplanted a V8 engine with a new rear-wheel drivetrain into a Ford Focus... gah, i'd love to have one of those... talk aboot drift-o-rama... hehe

well it just hit the stripper and should be repainted by tommarow, i used an old can of testors clear and we all know they only last about 2 times and this can had been used like 4 times and it was not spraying the clear and it made the clear on the car run real bad so its stripping in brake fluid and will be repainted tommarow.

the reason i said it was ricy was cause of the front bumper...it looks ugly IMO

I suggest switching to Tamiya spray can's and not even worrying about clear coat, I use tamiya and just use rubbing compound, and get a great shine.

Jdm...a suggestion when building an exhaust, try not to use a candle or flame to heat it, stick the plastic in hot boiling water, that way it doesn't melt, and you might need a little heat to hold shape. but the residue should be able to be wiped from the surface.

jdmhotrod
