Towing Using A Chevy Astro.

I have a 1995 chevy astro I want to use to tow a boat/trailer for total weight of 5000 lbs.The van is reated for 5400lbs and has eng and trans oil coolers as well as a 6000 lbs hitch.On the road towing will probably be ok,but I'm a little worried about the van being able to pull the boat out of the water on the ramp.Has anybody had any exp using this van and weight combination?any advise would be great.

I should definately be able to do it
