2001 GTP Trans Problems

I have a 2001 GTP with some light mods and 29500 miles on it. The car has been running great, but with in the last week the car has been shifting funny. Like if your drive down the road and you take your foot off the gas and then give it gas again the trans slams back in gear really hard. It does it hot or cold. Is there a problem with the trans or recall for this years? Is anybody else having the same problems?

Still under warrenty? If so, remove (minimal) mods and take it in. With tranny issues they will sight any mods as a part of the problem, even with the moss/mag act.

Trannys are the weak link in these cars.

I have the same problem with my 2000 SE (79K miles). The car runs great but when the engine starts to get hot, it does the shifting problem. Any advise? I'm planning to take it over to the dealer but wanted to check here first before I throw away my $$$$$ (I just got hit $500 for fixing my intrepid).
