eclipse questions

hey i have been thinkin bout buyin an eclipse GST or GSX and i had some questions about these cars.. are they reliable cars? when working on the engine is it complicated to work on? u know like do u have to take out parts jus to get to 1 spot... are parts for these cars expensive or cheap? wut about insurance,any higher than other cars? ok thats about it.. if any1 could add in any good or bad things about these cars please do.. thanks alot

1. They are reliable unless you mistreat them. Don't let anyone tell you that you won't be buying new parts as you break them if you race all the time.
2. The engine bay is straightforward compared to a lot of new vehicles, but there are things that get in the way when you work on certain parts. Don't worry too much about it though.
3. Parts are cheap, aftermarket and used especially. New parts for a 1995 vehicle or so will always be expensive.
4. 'Turbo' on your insurance doesn't help. They are expensive to own if you don't have a pretty record. On the other hand, they aren't worth enough to make the insurance skyrocket (corvette anyone?)
If you need an ultra-reliable car, find a nice Honda. It will be slow, but that's what you get.
