removing ashtray

I have decided to add a cd player to the car and ive seen some cars where they have the cd player in the ashtray while keeping the stock radio using a t-harness, so i was wondering how i would remove the ashtray assembly.

I only see two screws underneath the ashtray :(

What you mean the small drawer under the radio? IF that is it then it has a small release lever that will allow you to take it off. This lever is on the top side of the drawer.

I mean the ashtray assembly, so i can fit the cd player where the ashtray assembly is.

I am lost here, cause the only ashtray I remember is the one besided the cigarrete ligther and it is really small. Sorry :rolleyes:
