Hello,
Okay here is the deal. I am in the process of installing a alarm with keyless entry. I have power locks and where i need to hook up wires in the drivers side door. I was wondering if anyone knew a site that tells what the wires on the 3 wires on the switch and the 8 or so on the control unit go to.
Thanks for everyones help in advanced.

You could try and use a volt meter on the wires coming out of the actulator. 1 will be ground, 1 will be 12v, and the other might be a passive wire or somthing. A volt meter will definatly tell you what it what.

now are we dealing with factory Power door locks or actuators that were installed ?
Now if your dealing with factory power door locks you have to figure out what kind of signal it is, positive pulse, negative pulse, vacume... in order to figure out how to trigger it.
if your dealing with an aftermaket actuator (like me) you will need some relays and wire them with a posive negative pulse trigger in order to do the lock and unlock. I would walk you thru how to do that but I honestly don't remember how because I did it over 3 years ago.
hope this helps

LX civic sorry, factory power locks.
By the alarm instruction manual it shows that the system would be a positive central lock systembecause it has the motor and switch in the door. But like i said im not positive.
Oh by the way the brand is phoenix digital.
thanks
