I sure as hell don't, reasons: contradictory and a hypocrite, signed his support to raid Iraq but then criticized Bush saying he should not have invaded Iraq. Also supported Vietnam in attacking Cambodia, VIetnam being communist and Cambodia a helpless country that was crumbling. Also he's very stiff, who likes a stiff president. Those are my main reasons why I don't like Kerry. He came to my school (George Mason University) for his victory speech and made the main building super crowded. I did not attend but heard about it, I will never support Kerry. John Edwards came a day before to George Mason also but did not garner as much support

I think he will be better than Bush. As desperate as this sounds, I'd take most anyone instead of Bush as our president, except for Cheney, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, and the other cabinet members Bush has in his 'company.'

I don't like Bush either, but I think he is the lesser of two evils. And yea Cheney is corrupt, I think a major reason we raided Iraq was for oil, so Cheney's former company (Haliburton) will get richer, and pay off some high government officials. But I don't know, I don't think Kerry would make a good president.

As far as democrats go, while I thought Clinton was corrupt and a scumbag, I wasn't scared to have him as president. Having a Mass. senator (either one) as president will leave the country in the same shape that Carter did - fucked up.

One thing I hate is that people keep thinking Clinton had something to do with the economy. Clinton keeps claiming that the economy was bes when he was president. True but it wasn't because of him. That's like saying a Janitor working at microsoft says they did the best during his years working there because he was working there.
President Clinton did NOT have anything to do with the economy, economist always point out that the tech boom was the reason the economy did so well. There were IT jobs abundant and people were spending a lot. Also Alan Greenspan was the key to stock prices being very high. Then everyone knows about the bubble burst, when all the tech companies stocks starting going way down and jobs were being lost. Clinton didn't act, IT jobs went overseas, stocks dropped heavily, Alan Greenspam raised the interest rates, then Bush became president. The economy being bad was pretty much bound to happen, not much Bush could have done. Also the 911 didn't help, there's no way Bush could have made the economy as strong as the Clinton years, no solution

I have to agree. Especially since Kerry has said he will repeal the tax cuts the month he's elected scares me. And health care for those under 25 is pretty ify as well. People may think they like him, but as soon as they see even MORE money coming out of their checks I think they'll have second thoughts.

Well, there's really not much to say about Kerry, I think the word 'Politician' sums up everything about him quite nicely. Whatever it takes to get the vote and he's already shown himself to be a liar, so how is he any different?

Also supported Vietnam in attacking Cambodia, VIetnam being communist and Cambodia a helpless country that was crumbling.
I don't think that matters one bit. We bombed parts of Cambodia during the Vietnam conflict, and that's just one of many reasons it's government was "crumbling" and after it had really disintegrated, the U.S. supported China in giving Cambodia weapons, so they could "fight" against vietnam - in fact the new Cambodian government just used these weapons to commit mass murder on their own people. (their leader, Pol Pot, killed more people than Mr. Hussein could have dreamed of doing) One way or another it wouldn't have mattered, if anything Vietnam invading Cambodia would've probably been a better thing than Cambodia invading Vietnam (which they never accomplished anyway, despite indirrect aid from the U.S. using China as the middle man) Really, I don't think what Kerry's opinion was on this terribly bungled conflict really matters.

Cambodia invading Vietnam??? They would have never been able to win. Reason why Hun Sen (one of the generals) raided Vietnam was so Vietnam had an excuse to raid Cambodia. Vietnam and Hun Sen made a collaboration that if Hun Sen took his army and attacked Vietnam, they will give Hun Sen lots of money and power. Hell he's the prime minister now, and he's serving Vietnam's interest. Not many people know about this theory, it was found out by Mike Benge, an American POW and staunch helper of the Hmong people.
