auto tranny ?

ok i just bought a 99 gsx from a auction so i didnt get to drive it but i grabed it for only 45oo it has 100k on it a runs great and looks real nice besides a small ding on a fender, it came with gauges,k@n and full apexi exhaust but the tranny slips a little. Would changing out the fluid help any or is it probaly shot. Also ive had luck with changing it out on my rx7 but this is a gsx so is there anything special i need to put in it. I used royal purple before and it worked wounders. Please help

u should leave it alone if u change that fluid all the metal particls will be out of the tranny and might cause it to slip more. you will need a new tranny its just a matter of when.If i was you i would go get it fixed or you will end up like me waiting 3 months for my tranny to be fixed.
