oK im posting this question for a friend, he has a 92 civic hx and his engine just went out so hes planing on swaping it so he would like to know which engine he should go with considering price and the pros and cons. Any info on prices would be extremly helpful.

First of all i have done a lot of research on swaps and yes its stick. What i forgot to ask is that if i get a B16A2 will i have a chance against my friends GT mustang?Or what a about a B18c?

Your friends GT Mustang is a V8 and if bone stock it is pushing 260hp / 302lbs. It all depends on the driver also, if the Mustang is auto then you will have to deal with perfect shifts etc...Lots of variables, The GSR (B18C) will give you a good stepping stone, but either engine can be built up.

thats good he already has a stick. cuz an auto to manual swap will be a bitch. dont expect to be schooling mustangs wit just an engine swap, its gonna have to take a lil more work. as for engines go any b-series is fine.
