TO check that make sure the car is cool, if not you definetly would get burned. It is on the passenger side behind/under to the right of the alternator.

No you shouldn't have to.....just get a long funnel. I know I couldn't find mine at first either, everyone kept telling me where it was but when I found it, it was covered in grease and dirt, so finding the red cap was impossable

The long funnel will do, be careful as you will spill oil for sure. You should keep it as clean as posible. YOu would get all messed up just checking the level

you should have said that was the original problem in the first place. do you have an aftermarlet radio in the car?
What it sounds like to me you have a loose ground wire from the back of the radio or the wire is touching something its not suppose to.

If you have an amp it could be the ground on that too
