vsiev, choosing a turbo is all about compromise.
You either have a small turbo that sppols fast and has no top end (ability for big power).
OR
You have a big turbo, that has slower spool, massive top end and can make huge horespower.

If I recall correctly, you have a T3T4. I have one as well.
They are very versatile. They come in many configurations which allow you to get different characteristics (HP vs lag).

The GReddy TD06 and the T3T4 turbos are the best bet in my opinion.
You can get good spool with lots of HP potential.
Chances are we will never see 500 HP with these turbos, but we also will not be waiting allday for the boost to kick in.

youngvr4, there are boost controllers out there (likethe Blitz DSBC that I have) that allow you to slow down how fast the turbo spools. A given turbo can only spool so fast on a given engine. The only way to make it spool faster is with nitrous (which a lot of guys use off the line while drag racing turbo cars).

The Blitz DSBC gives you the opportunity to adjust your spool which is helpful in situations where you keep over boosting (sudden psi spikes). By slowing your spool rate, you have a better chance of controlling psi before you go over your preset limit.

Like I said, I have this unit and it is a constant balance between fastest spool possible without over boosting.

**This is just my understanding on this matter. If you have information contrary to that I would enjoy learning mroe. thanks.
