Tahoe wheel spacers

Just put a set of really high quality wheel spacers on my 1999 Tahoe Sport (2 door) 4-wheel drive. It makes a ton of difference in the looks as now the wheels sit out where they should and the truck looks a lot better. I also noticed it rides better on the highway as it seems to wander less. My guess is the widened stance put the tires in the middle of the ruts in the road versus the old narrow stance which meant the tires were running on the inside of the ruts. I used 1.5" on the fronts and 2.5" on the rears. I highly recommend this if you want to keep the stock rims and improve the look and ride of your Tahoe.

I am thinking about putting a set of spacers on my rear wheels. I have aftermarket rims on and I've noticed the front wheels stick out a little farther than the rear wheels.

I got mine from Performance Wheel and Tire in Sheridan, CO. Their number is (303) 880-6829. The cost for the 1.5" front's was $130 and the 2.5" rears were $190. Also, make sure they send you the right lug nuts as they're only 3/4" nuts versus the 7/8" that's on the original wheel (both are 14x1.5 mm). You need the samller head size to get a socket in to the opening on the spacer. You'll need to get at least an 1.5" spacer so the studs are not above the spacer.
