Wow, that's depressing. California is a good $0.50 above every other state in the union. Bastards. Plus, Redondo Beach isn't even mentioned. :banghead:

They need to update that. Where I get my gas they have it listed for 1.55 per gallon and it's really 1.77 per gallon.

Gas was under a buck a few years ago when production was running at full capacity. It was scaled back and demand steadily rose - hence higher prices regardless of how high the taxes are.

Where I normally go it was $1.55 (87 octane) and just recently jumped way up to $1.59 But the stations closest to my house are selling the same grade for about $1.69
If only it were six years ago, and gas was $1.20!
