abs light

about 3 months ago my abs light would come on after about 10 min. of driving and it would turn of and on. then a few weeks later it would turn on after i got over 15 mph. now it turns on when i start the car and doesnt turn off. does anyone know what this is and how to fix it.

that happens to me too. since i got the car in november, it just goes on after i begin to drive the car and doesn't go off until i turn off the car.

i would like to know as well. the explanation in the manual kinda sucked.

im having the same problem.. i was changing the tie end rod and noticed the brakes are locked a little.. i could spin the hub with my hand but not as ez as it should be..

maybe theres some crap stuck on the ABS sensor at one or more wheels. take off each wheel and inspect it, no visible damage to teh sensor? nothing obstructing it? is the fluid in the ABS unit full?

happens to me too. just bugs the hell out of me! what really causes this? mechanic said its common and it's no big issue. hopefully he's right.

well the light coming on isnt common and no big deal, it means somethings wrong with the ABS system and if you ever need to depend on it it probably isnt going to work.

Um in the abs unit thing you have to put brake fluid in it that shoul solve the problem.If you get that annoying sound when you start your car that would be your problem..

Checked brake fluid its full. what next? ya think it could be from my axles? the rubber on my axle is ripped on one side and all this oil coming out. yea i should replace it, but does that have anything to do with abs?

if the greas from the bot flies out anid gets all over the ABS sensor then I could see how that would cause the light to come on.
