alright you know why i wouldn't tell you? it is becusae no one stole it. it rolled down a hill and got stuck in the middle of a intersection. my rear brakes are very low so the e brake is not that strong. so it just rolled down. and some company towed it and gave me a ticket. the car did suffer from a cracked bumpers, bent front sway bar and for some reason my brake master cylinder reservoir got melted. hmmm

dont sweat it man. it happens to the best of us. i wouldnt be embarassed if you are. once a friend of mine had his e brake not work so well on his rx7, it rolled into an alley, and some native plowed into it, and drove away. it happens unfortinetley.

hey man..nothing to be ashamed of...if i woke up or walked out of my apartment or house and my car was gone i would flip the fuck out as well and immediatley assume that it was stolen, the only difference is that i live on a flat street lol so it wouldnt roll. but ya SR20 makes a good point ....i mean is your parking gear really that weak as to let the car just roll?

Mine is... If i'm parked on a steep enough hill my car will roll. I usually don't leave it in gear, I have a tendency to not push in the clutch when I start it... all those years of driving Autos. :p

After learning on my mom's subaru that wouldn't start without having your foot on the clutch, I'm perminately imprinted to have my foot on the clutch when starting a car. Of course, when I get in an auto, my foot gropes around for the clutch for a good 10 seconds before I realize there isn't one...
Note to Tat: curb your tiresnext time. Don't feel bad though, it could've happened to anyone.

i have to push in my clutch in order for my car too start.
i'm sorry to hear the news and at the same time happy for you, at least you still have your upgrades, that was your worst fear about this anyway wasn't it?

My Mustang was kinda like that.. but I just had to pull it up once, put it back down.. then pull it up hard again... and usually it tightens up.

Well that's lucky my good man. That Newton and his evil invention Gravity is up to no good again! It's a fine thing that you didn't end up with many car pieces. However you could of made some interesting things if that were the case. Like perhaps a giganic pile of car parts stuck together with tape of some description. Very cool it could be it must be said.
What I really suggest you do... Is get a set of chocks to put against the wheels when parked at home. Works even better if you get a set of WWII style flight goggles.
"CHOCKS AWAY! No, the CHOCKS. Not the cat you fool. Poor Fluffy!"
Only problem is if some rapscallion make away with him (EDIT: or rather THEM, as in the chocks, poor fluffy has enough on his plate as it is thank you very much). That problem can be solved with an RPG-7 however...
