I got off my addiction with this game a long time ago! and now look! ive suddenly lost interest in everything else....

Well i got my integra to top out at 420 miles an hour without a supercharger or turbo or antyhing...

Yea I've played this game to death. I got bored after my 300ZX TT, CRX, and Mclaren F1 were running 4's. No competition out there.

what i dont get about it is why it seems like every car can rape me off the line without problem :screwy:

And why is it that it wont let me cut a perfect light? Everytime I try to get out the hole quick it tells me I lose :(

My best run so far is in my 'Cuda, with a 4.56 @ 280MPH, no nitrous. My Comet and McLaren F1 are close behind. It's boring now :(.

Funniest thing is, I can race the "Drag Racers" starting in 4th (sitting there, shifting too), and still beat them while running a high 5/low 6.

GEEZE im still stuck in damn 8's! even after i max out the hp/torque and go full weight reduction! and i play with the ratios too! ARRGGGG!!! whats my problem??

Hey, found an old save I had when I was running an Integra. I also had a Mclaren and a Skyline, but I didn't have them as maxed as the Integra was.


I decided to do some runs with the 'Teg...BTW, after level 53, which is the million-dollar race, all the runs will be against a low 6-second Saleen S7, all for 10,000.

I went and did some runs so I can take these:

Notice the nitrous gauge is still full. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/icon16.gif I find that trying to use it actually just slows me down.

Normally, at that level, I am at about 5.12 to 5.00 with a decent run. Took some shifting to get the mid 4's.

My Integra's stats are completely maxed, and I am running 8's. How do I go faster?

Check this out guys. Here's the pattern I noticed:

After you've maxed-out everything, keep running against the different racers, "story" or "race" modes, until you race against a somebody that you'll NEVER beat, or run into again...you'll run against somebody that'll run LOW 4's, about 4.12.

After he smokes you, if you have enough money, you can reduce weight further than the 1000 limit, all the way to 100.

With this, max-out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears to their highest settings, as you'll run out of those gears QUICK. Set 4th, 5th, and depending on how low you set 5th, 6th to their optimum points.

Best runs I've had was with my car htting the end of the 400m mark just RIGHT before cut-off in 5th.

Sad thing is, you can't save the 100-weight setting. If you turn-off the game, and try to load the save text, your car will be at weight of 1101, and you'll have to start looking for the 4-second guy again.

Last piece of advice: learn your shift-points, and hit 'em...just like a real car.

Thats what happened to me!!! Yesterday I was running 5's with a 100 pound car, and now today my car weighs 1101 lbs and I'm into 8's. I thought it was just a glitch so I didn't bother explaining this the first time. Yesterday I beat the game no problem :D missed every single shift and still kicked the final car's ass.

How can I find this low 4 second car? I already beat story mode.
