Problem with Files!!!

I have these recorded music files that I transfered from a tape to mp3. I was changing thier trak data so they would pop up in the name I wanted. Then once I changed all thier names I went back to burn them onto cd, but They were all corrupted and I could not play them on anything! It asked what program do you want to run these with because it could not recocgnize them so I chose music juxbox(sp?) and they still would not play. Now the icons look ghost like and are still corrupted. Is there anyway of fixing this so that I can play them again????
