grinding noise?

I have a 95 honda civic EX. The other day i was driving and i noticed that my car made a grinding noise whenever i turned. The problem now is whenever i turn both directions, but sometimes it doesnt make a noise. Could someone please help me and tell me whats wrong with my car, i just want it to be back to normal.

Have you made any modifications to your suspension or wheel/tire size?
Give some more info about your car.

check out your C/V joints... look underneath and see if the rubber boots are torn on the drive axles.

Check your power steering fluid and pump

Thanks for all the help but went and got it checked out today and its the boots on the cv joints. I guess they were torn pretty badly and the grease was leaking really bad. its only gonna cost about 300 which i guess isnt to bad, better than paying 2000 for a new front end. Thanks again.
