Trouble with T/A Driver's side window

Hey all. I've got a problem with the electric motor on my '97 T/A's driver's side window. It started going up in little spurts, up a bit then stop... up a bit then stop. It finally quit, luckily in the up position. My question is if there is a relay on that motor I should try replacing or should I just replace the whole thing. I found a remna, A-1 Cardone I think was the company name, for $48. Anyone ever have any experience with their parts? Also, how hard is it to remove the door panel? Any tips?? Thanks for the help.

I had the same problem. My driverside window was stuck almost all the way up so it leaked badly in the rain. I just replaced the motor, the stock motors are junk. I bought a new one from auto zone for like $65 or so and it came with a lifetime warranty. Thanks for the install guide, it looks great. I might go the Auto Zone route too since I plan on keeping my T/A forever. I guess I'll probably have to replace it again sooner or later!
