My outside tempature reading is always 'off' by +/- 5-8 degrees. Its more accurate in colder tempatures. Where is the sending unit for the thermometer located? Can it be calibrated?
Thank you
Thank you

You may need to reset your gauge. Do this by holding both buttons down until the number flashes then it should be reset. Also check your owners manual.

When I reset, it goes into CALibration. This does nothing to readjust the temperature reading only the compass. Does anyone know where the sensor (probe) is for the temperature sending unit? Thanks Rip'

I have a picture in my gallery of the location. It's under the hood, maybe explaining the temp. fluctuations, looks to be on the right side
forwars behind the radiator mounting. If you can't get into gallery
I can email the jpg. It's about 50k. 1998AirTEmpSensor.jpg
