My 2000 Ford Explorer is burning a tremendous amount of gas. I am only getting like 50 miles to a 1/4 tank of gas. I have changed the plugs, the air filter, and oil. No change.
This was not a gradual change, it was almost overnight. Does anyone know of a sensor that may cause this drastic of a change, or anything else???
Thanks.

I'm just a shadetree mechanic, but I'd say your problem isn't related to some maintenance item.
You have something that has gone defective, I'd say in the fuel delivery area. Youre dumping fuel , and lots of it, into the cylinders.
Get it to a shop. If you continue to run it, you'll destroy the cat converter. Good luck.
