Hello everyone. My name is Mike, and I'm a 28 year old from Los Angeles. I joined these forums tonight, because I am looking for a particular car, and everytime I entered the year/make/model of the car on Google, threads from this site would always pop up. The threads were not about the car being for sale, but I did see that people in this forum seem to be extremely helpful and friendly when it came to repairs, custom jobs, restorations, etc.
Soooo, when I do finally find this car, I hope to talk to some of you about it.
In case you're wondering, it's an 86 T-bird. It was my first car, and I had it for about 7 years before trading it in on a freakin Honda Passport - one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. My dad had bought that car new back in 85, and had it for 7 years before me. Anyhow, "Smokey" was a HUGE part of my growing up, and I feel like a real idiot for trading him in. I doubt I could ever find him again if I tried, so I'm looking for another one like him that I can hopefully fix up.
