well a few days ago I noticed my car was running a bit hot, not being far from home I went home and let my car cool. After it was cool I checked the water level and filled what was missing I put water in the radiator tree times and then I didnt seem to be leaking so i wasnt to parinoidbut today i was going back st school and I pulled into autozone and i smelled something and I looked at my temp gauge and it was all the way up I didnt know how long it was like that. I killed the car and let is sit for a while until it was cool and put water in it but as fast as i put it in there it came out, when i jacked the car up it looked like the water wasd comming out of the intake manifold but im not sure im just pissed at my self for not being as atentive. Think thats possible?

Thanks for listening

.......what? :screwy:

Why the hell would water come out your intake manifold? And why would you only put water in there? It's supposed to be a 50/50 mix of water/coolant, and it goes in your RADIATOR.

whats this whole intake manifold deal you're talking about.

the intake manifold is nowhere near your radiator.

I know but as I would pour water in the water would come out around the intake manifold through hope fully a blown gasket and not a crack

if it was coming out of your intake, im guessing where it mates to the block, id say you have a blown head gasket, and prolly blown valve seals, cracked block, etc etc.

Yeah dude if you have coolant coming out of your intake manifold your engine's fucked

first things first... have someone else pour the water into the radiator (and dont bother using coolant with the water if it is just going to pour out anyway) when the other person pours the water in YOU watch with a flashlight to get a better view of where the water is actually coming out

Sounds like it may be coming out of the Thermostat housing which is located close to the intake, down below it.

if thats the case, figure out why the watter is comming out, maybe the housing is cracked.
