Problem with Honda CRV. Engine Stalls sometimes

Hi, i recently bought a 98 Honda CRV which has 90k miles on it. Sometimes while driving the engine suddenly stalls. I have to put it in parking and start again and it starts. This happens once a while. I showed it to the dealer and they could find out the problem. Does anybody had such a problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

When was the last tune-up? There is a 90K maintenance service that should NOT be skipped, or any other scheduled maintenance service. The first things I would check & repalce : Spark plugs, Distributor cap & rotor, fuel filter, & possibly spark plug wires. Note: those are the basic's much more should be done including brake service, fluid changes, valve adjustment, etc. Instead of listing the entire 90K service I suggest stopping by your Honda dealer to pick-up a maint. list.
