96 TA decals on the back

Can someone tell me if my 96 TA should have a decal on the back black piece that goes between the taillights? I can see an outline there that says Trans Am and then the outline of a small bird on it. But there is no sticker on it so when your following it you can't even see this. I saw a Firebird that had a red bird and said Firebird in Red on it last night so I wonder if mine should be like that too? I asked them at the dealer and they said they don't show a decal for that. Any ideas?

It should be red alright but not a sticker. It is actually painted on. There is an aftermarket filler that has it molded in red plastic and lights up. I saw one at a show once and, my bad, I never asked the guy where he got it. Now I'm searching for one high and low. I think it would be far cooler to see the Bird lit up..... it would give all the Mustangs something more to envy!

I bought the vinyl bird and Trans AM off eBay and it looks really good. Actually I bought the entire decal set for like 30.00. The guy is still selling the decal kits. I bought silver for everything else but I specified red for the back bird and TA. Here is the link to a current auction.

they have tons of decals and i'm almost positive that they have the one your looking for

Autografics is the one who sold me my sticks on eBay. I did have a problem with a few stickers, nothing major and the guy never responded back, just to let you know.
