Spare Tire Lock

Bought a 2000 7.3 Turbo Diesel F250 Super Duty. I have a Spare Tire Lock and I do not know how to install it. Can someone help me?

The stock required a key to remove it, i think a spare tire lock is unesessary.

the key in your glove box fits on the end of the jack rod to lower/raise the spare. personally i'd get rid of it the key's always get lost. if you lower the spare and pop off the plastic tube on the spare winch you can pull the lock out with vise grips.
