I am getting my head resurfaced in a couple days and am in need of a new headgasket and am thinking it would be a 86-89 integra seeing as it is a 1.6 liter d series DOHC. is it the right one??? I guess I could just take my old one to the dealer and match it to the integra one they bring out.
I think while I get it out, I might put in some new rings/hone the cylinders. it could be done without dropping the engine dont you think, just drop the pan and unbolt rod caps, push pistons out from bottom and then hone them, rering and drop em back down in. I am sure a engine from 88-91 has tons of miles on it so I hope it will have alot more power when I ghet it back together, it ran a 16.6 in a hatch with intake and I had 3 tries and it isnt my driving cuz my friend drove it a cou0ple times and got a 16.7 in it, so maybe it could hit like a 16.3 after practice but I saw a page where a CRK hit a 15 flat with a stock ZC, and my hatch isnt that much heavier.

I don't know for sure, but I would bet that they are the same. The engines are really similar in a lot of aspects
