S3 cams

I was wondering if anyone knows approximately how much hp the JWT S3 cams make. I've done a little research on them but haven't found anything conclusive. I'm talking about the 2000 Sentra and up btw. Thanx for any advice. :smokin:

No, it's a 2002 SE-R. I just said 2000 and up because that was when the sentra changed from the late 90s platform. As for mods, AEM air intake, (header and exhaust pending) and as I can afford it, put the S3s in. Is there any necessary or specific tuning I will need to do for the cams.

For the S3's? No tuning needed

With an intake only you'll probably get ~7hp, if you had i/h/e I would guess closer to 12hp from the cams alone.

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully I'll have the SE-R where I want it by summer. :evillol:

Hey, just one more question. Would the cams make idling hard at low RPMs? Furthermore, would they be okay for daily driving, seeing as that's my only car.

It would make the idle a little lopey and slightly rougher, but not bad. Now if they made S4s or C1s for the QR you might run into some idling problems, but the S3s are too tame to cause any of those problems. It will be perfectly fine for daily driving.
