Extended Warranty

These posts are scaring me! I just bought an 04 SR5 2WD and automatically declined the extended warranty because of Toyota's reputation. I bought the Sequoia over the Expedition because of Toyota's reliability, and now I'm reading all this! Fortunately, it's never too late to buy an extended warranty. 2 good sources are at warrantydirect.com and 1sourceautowarranty.com. Has anyone bought from them? Both have A ratings and had positive reviews at www.CarBuyingTips.com. By the way, CarBuyingTips.com has great advice on buying cars and tells you all about dealer scams. I used their advice to get my Sequoia at $900 below invoice ($4,900 below MSRP)! So I'm happy with my deal, just hope I don't have any problems with it.

Good. Leave it at that. That truck is a great truck. The engine is fabulous - my 2000 land crusier had the same engine - 120,000 miles later, there was no problems whatsoever.

I was looking for an extended warranty and purchased a Platinum Toyota warranty from a dealer in MA.
