let me refraze the turbo lag question

What I mean by lag is, for example my car sometimes lags accelerating out of first and second gear, the car hesistates. I know turbo lag is the time from when you accelerate your car to when the turbo boost comes in. Will my car hesistate and lag more by added a turbo??

Are you asking if a turbo will slow down the rate of RPM incresse?

If that is the case then no it should not do that.

if your piping is all the right size then there should be very little to no noticable drop in power before the turbo kicks in.
