Do women know how to drive? Car accident already w/ the EVO

Alright enough is enough. This is the f@#king 4th girl to crash into me. I'm not that good looking, so I know it's not like they want my number. I was driving on the 101 freeway, driving back from work (I work graveyard out in Woodland Hills). Whilst coming close to the 405 freeway, I see traffic stop up ahead (No doubt due to the idiotic boneheads that wait for the last second to merge onto the 405 going south, a bottle neck if you would). I stop, and some lady not paying attention in a Honda Civic swerves too late to make it to the left lane. Fortunately she was hitting the brakes. She smacked into me at about 5 mph i'd guess. I immediately became infuriated (I've only owned this car since Saturday). I check out the damage, and she scraped the side of the rear bumper (Left hand side). Her civic is actually quite messed up. Looks like she broke the headlight on the right hand side, on top of mashing her bumper. I ask for insurance, driver's license, etc..... She seems zoned out, and kinda pissed off (Why she'd be mad at me is beyond me, but if I wasn't a gentlemen I would have stuffed her in the trunk of her car and left her there until the CHP came across to get her out). I checked by my friendly body shop (This guy knows my family and I real well, cause we are all cursed auto accident wise). Anyways, cause he has done several of my vehicles, and some of my families cars, he gave me an extremely reduced price. He said there is no frame damage, and he doubts that the alignment is affected. It's gonna cost $200 to fix the car (If it was the normal price i'm positive it would be over $400). Here is a list of my misfortunate accidents w/ women:
87 MR2- smashed into at Glendale community College's parking lot.
00 Acura Integra GS-R- owned for a month and a half, before being nailed on Wilber Avenue, while parked, sending it sailing through my supervisors car, totalling both vehicles (BTW I had just gotten the rear left quarter panel repainted after the car was egged a week or two before the accident)
00 Z28- I'm sitting at the Shell station pumping gas in my car (Not paying attention at the time). Some extremely hot chick smacks right into the car's front bumper w/ her 80'ish Ford F150
I don't think I can avoid the women w/ cell hones and pocket mirrors, not paying attention whilst putting on makeup, or talking on the phone. I'm just happy it wasn't an SUV.

Women as a general whole are extremely shitty drivers. They think they're so fucking invincible in whatever they drive because they always overestimate the car. I've never ridden with any woman that didn't scare the living shit out of me when I was driving. GO EASY ON THE BRAKES GIRLS!

Note: I know there are some women who can drive, and just meant this as a generalization... my girlfriend can drive decently - only she fails to realize that in Kentucky you have two choices - closer to the middle or closer to the edge. In the middle theres cars, on the outside theres ditches. Cars move, ditches dont. I get nervous riding with her...

I dont let my wife drive me around..she acts like she is zoned out and then when someone pulls something funny in front of us she freaks out about it..Scary thing is I was driving around town to an appointment and she passed me on I-275..i was going in excess of 90 when she just blew me away...she had to be going 130. When i asked her about it later that day she said "oh i was racing a guy in a honda that was looking funny at me" and "i was only going 127, not 130"...well excuse me...This is extremly scary for me as she is the one who rear ended me at a stop sign. she thought i had taken off so she hit the gas.
So yes, some women driving scares the shit outta me...

foreign women are the worst. I've been in two accidents, both with women who just moved to the US from Russia. My car was totalled in both accidents, and I was at the chiropractor 3 times a week for a year because of one of them. Not saying all women, but a majority of women cannot drive. To this day, I can't figure out why women pay less then men on insurance too....sigh

My girlfriend drives a Trans Am and could be getting an STi soon.

What keeps me from making her get something safe? I get to drive them.

Now that scares me. Whereabouts do you live, and at what time does she drive :p J/K I'm not trying to generalize guys. I'll being totally honest. I dunno why they keep hitting my cars. I really felt sorry for the integra GS-R when it was totalled. Sucker was hit so hard the spectators said they saw the car literally catch air. I'm lucky the EVO wasn't hit hard. I have to admit that I grow somewhat attached to my cars.

My wife is overly cautious whne driving. It drives me nuts I cannot be a passanger in the car w/ her. She is the sort to wait for there to be no cars on the road before pulling out. I like the fact that she is so defensive.

Scariest thing I have seen to date. A soccer mom in a H-2 on her celphone tooling down the road not paying attention to anyone. - Nothing like a 6000 lb missle carrening down the road.

I know one good female driver. One.

She drives a 1988 BMW 535i with a balanced motor/cam/lightweight flywheel/5spd/AVS/Bilstein etc...

I'd venture to say you guys are posting with your wives looking over your shoulders. Don't hold back, girls are monsters on the road. Generalize the hell out of them untill we get equal insurance rights. VIVA LA RESISTANCE!

Wife not looking over shoulder here. She actually is a very defensive driver.

I have been begging her to take an evolution autocross driving school with me. I think she will be good at it.

I do see a LOT of women driving around doing makup fighting with screaming kids in back seats etc.. But I see a lot of guys driving around w/ cel phones plastered to their ears too.

Sounds like a bad omen to me *cough* should have kept the Z28 *cough* The car gods have been angered by your purchase.

But on a serious note, i do know what you mean. A year ago i was rear ended by a lady looking behind her at the sunlight. To top it off, she tried to tell the officer i didn't have my turn signal on :eek7: What can you do

2000LS1Z28

I'll tell you what i can do. If she tries to contest it I have background in litigation. I will take her to small claims and screw up any credit she has. I don't think it will go that route though. If it does i'll sue her for the damages done to my car, and a day's loss in wages.

Now that's what really really really pisses me off is that they get lower insurance rates, as of right now I pay 1800 per year under my parents insurance...but if I wanted to get my own car and insure that I would have to pay close to 2500 per year just for liability nothing else an clean driving record no accidents and I know of girls that I graduated with totalling a car or 2 and not having to pay more than 5-600 per year which makes me want to vomit at the thought of it...Ohh well I could just bitch about this until I'm blue in the face but I won't

Anyways sorry to hear about your ride I don't know what I woulda done if I just had a car for a few days and that happened.

Well... I think I'm a rather good driver. My husband and I both attended skip barber's racing school last year. Was very fun. We also reguarly attend HSR West events at Willow Springs, ButtonWillow and Laguna Seca.

But... as far as your average women drivers go... I have to agree that they're kinda crazy. And... on top of that... we tend to get out of tickets a lot easier. :grinno: I've never gotten a ticket but have been pulled over 4 times, once for doing 75 in a 35. :uhoh:

Well looks like I will have to wait until Monday for an adjustor to look at the car. Stupid B*&ch pissed me off. Why couldn't she have beeen patient on the freeway. If it is rush hour don't try crossing from lane to lane while driving faster then everybody else. Actually I honestly don't mean to name call on her, i'm just upset. I have to admit though, I hope her insurance goes up, so that she can see the error of her ways everytime she has to pay the next year. Maybe she will slow down then, and hopefully not hurt anybody on the road. I actually had a story from my supervisor at work. He rides motorcycles frequently. He was stopped at a light when some woman crashed into the back of his bikes rear tire, and almost catapulted him off the bike into the street. He said she kept apologizing. I told him he was lucky. 5mph civic vs. bike = applesauce (Cause another motorist might hit you where you land). I'll keep you guys posted on how the story goes.

This girl hit me and my mom when we were stopped at a light. She was in a big Chevy SUV trying to work her radio. She never even hit the brakes. Lucky for us we where in our audi wagon cause that thing held up like a tank.

Wait can isurance legally charge men more just because their men? Dosnt that violate some kind of rights?

If you guys think insurance rights is alot more ideal for women, how about when it comes down to the law? If a female student soo much as states that a man raped her (Not this hasn't happened to me) the guy is kicked off campus, and his face is posted in the school newspaper. This act is done by school campuses across the nation to free civil liability, and to not garner any unnceccessary attention. I know of a true story where a woman actually stated that a man raped her, all in order to get her boyfriend jealous. The poor sob was stuck in prison for several years. I'm no genius, but I bet he was popular with the fellas. She finally admitted to her making up the story in order to make her boyfriend jealous a couple years down the raod. Of course there are stories of men getting away w/ sex crimes, but I do think that women carry some weight behind them in court.

Women drivers suck. I was driving down northern, the street came to be almost completely covered in water. I hit the water at about 45-50 (only a couple ppl on the road at the time. I kept control of my car, The lady behind me didnt. She went swirving around almost hitting a tree. I went sideways but got back control of the car. It was fun but she almost hit me. It was some soccer mom. On a cell phone doing her hair. God i hate women drivers.

yeah women drivers suck and they own the judical system (both huge over-generalizations but who cares).. what else is new.. the only way to solve that is for there to be no chicks (women)...and a world with no chicks is no world i want a part of!!!

I can't agree more. A few weeks ago I'm driving to school and I stoped at a light that just turned red. I put the car in park so I could safely pick up something that had fallen on the floor. As I'm putting the car back in drive this woman rear ends me then tries to tell me I put the car in reverse, I swear if I'm glad I was tired cause if I had energy i would of probably lost my temper. I look at the front of my car and it was still exactly on the stop block where I stoped it so I'm 100% it wasn't in reverse. Long story short, I'm glad I drive a 3800lb car cause anyone who hits me in an average car is gonna pay lol.
