nah thas not rice. rice is putting DOCH VTEC stickers on a civic hatchback. or type-r stickers on an american civic accord or non type-r integra. rice is doing the 1 wiper conversion and putting huge ass exhaust tips on the cars. or putting huge ass wings on. those arent rice. those are sick crxs and civics with really cool body mods.

i think for once skyline is right . Those are actually pretty tight cars i wouldnt mind being next to any of those cars . just my opinion :cwn27:

I wouldn't say Rice exactly.....I don't think body kits (when well done and on cars that can perform) is ricey.

Well, for one, if I am going to do a motor swap into a car, and spend that much on my body. I would not drop a SOHC vtec motor in. I would go for the biggest motor possible that could move all that bondo, like a H22, or B series, something like that. Not a little SOHC. I do give them credit for there talent, dont get me wrong, but.....

I agree with kbslacker these cars are rice-o-rific! hey here is the point the boys at that shop have talent, but if you want to make your civic hatch to look like an expensive exotic sports car here is a kooky idea..........save the money you are putting into body kits and buy a nice exotic sports car. yeah its a revolutionary idea, buying something nice so you dont have to put more money into it to make it look nice. like they say it only costs 90% more to go first class.

but still theres no fun in savin money to buy a higher class car and even if they did save the money im sure theyd do stuff to the more expensive car to make it stand out. maybe u like porsches or ferraris and i agree that they stand out but maybe thats not the kind of attention they like. they like people commin up to em askin how they got focus lights on a crx.

i personally like all kinds of cars. id take a 5.0 jus as soon as id take a prelude or bmw suv. u have to be open to all aspects of motoring. jus b/c u dont like something doesnt mean everyone will hate it. theres a large community of ppl that like to customize FWD hondas jus like there are that like to customize trucks and mustangs. then theres ppl that like original classics. maybe some of this isnt ur cup of tea but y make fun of it. someone that doesnt like what u like could easily come here and make fun of you for what u like. it makes no sense. jus accept that people like different things and move on.

it takes no less effort to cutomize a car u like than it does to customize a car u dont like. maybe u dont like custom lights or body kits. but while u may like to go fast they may like to win shows. so dont knock it jus b/c u like somethin different.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. I am merely voicing my opinion, and for you tell me to forget it and move on, is pretty shitty. Like I have said, they have talent, and if that is what they like, fine. But expect criticism. This one word has been happening ever since street racing has gone on.

Damn. What's up with all the rice these days. As some other board members have said, after it's all said and done, you're still driving a honda (or other car company). Not that there's anyrthing wrong with honda's, it's just that one should not make them out to be something they're not. I used to be the same way, but luckily I saw the light. Just my .02.
