Now that the sound is done, my goal is to get to 250 hp. Can anyone help me with that, ideas, sugestions or tips are highly valued. I got a '99 z24 with headers, cat-back and injen intake system. Thanx

or you can go full NA and probably get to that, might not be a good daily driver but you could do that too.

Going N/A is possible for 250 hp but its going to be hard and cost a lot of money. To easily get to that figure for a 4banger, you need FI.

you dont have headers, you have a header...and turbocharging would be the easiest way...

GM Super would give you around 230 on the 2.4, you will need turbo and internals to go higher than that.

To get to 250 hp you would have to spend around $4k. Well thats if you want to do it right. You'll need lower compression pistons, and forged rods. An intercooler and a new radiator, if you can get a better fan that always helps. Cooler engine temps will allow more power and reliability. I wouldn't go larger than a t3/t4 hybrid turbo for the size of your motor and it will give you the best balance of low and top end power. If you are willing to shell out the bucks for a ball-bearing turbo it is the best way to go because they spool so much quicker. You'll have to upgrade your fuel system accordingly, meaning replacing your stock fuel pump and adding at least one more aftermarket pump. Make sure all your maintanence is up to date and always opt for premium gas. :smokin:
