what's the difference between all the turbos, like t3 or t4 or like t66 t70? are they like sizes or what? and do they do diff things? also like a 13b turbo or a 18g what's the difference? while i'm at it, i was lookin at this turbo kit and it said wet floating ball bearings, what is that? and is that good or bad or what's better?

the numbers on the turbo are related to size of the turbo, the 15 and 18 and other turbos like them were generally the sizes that came on factory cars. The T3, T3/T4 hybrid, T4 are larger than the turbos that came on most cars, and they are generally used for racing setups or high performance street. Then ones like the super 60 are usually consitered drag only turbos because they are too large for a street motor to properly spool. Wet floating usually means that it is a bushing turbo not a ball bearing becuase the shaft literally floats on a layer of oil when the turbo gets up to speed, and ball bearing turbos actually have the shaft mounted in a bearing cartridge. Be careful about these though, many times people advertise the trubo as ball bearing but it is actually a floating bushing turbo instead. The ball bearing turbo is the best one for most applications because there is less wear to worry about and the turbo spools faster.

just by looking at it I dont think there is any way to tell if it is either one. If you are getting a factory turbo off of a car then you can check and see which they came with.

with it being an automatic I dont know just how much power it will be able to handle if its a stock transmission. As far as a turbo I like the turbonetics T3/T4 but unless you are looking to make 300+ hp it might be a little big. for street driving you would probably be alright with a 25 or any other turbo of a similar size. The main thing that would determine which one to go with is how much power you want to make, how much you are willing to spend, and how much power the tranny can handle.

if you are planning to turbocharge your integra, don't do the basics cause turbos come with their own headers and intake. The exhaust, yes, just make sure the pipe size is at least 2.25. Depending on how much boost you're running depends on how big an exhaust you want, usually people get 2.5 inch. You would probably want a t3 or a t3/t4 hybrid turbo by turbonetics or one of that size by another brand, reason being is because they spool quickly and do yield good power. They are best for super street applications. You can do bigger turbo's but the lag will be evident.

being that you have an automatic, i know the LS has a stronger tranny in contrast to the GSR, however, this fact is for the manual tranny, im not sure with the automatic. Either way, you might want to consider upgrading your transmission or swapping the tranny. If you swap the tranny, go with the LS tranny (if this is possible, swapping the tranny without the engine). If you want to stay auto, go to www.levelten.com and consider them. As for a turbo kit, go to www.cybernationmotorsports.com and consider them. If you have any other questions, just ask!!!!!!
